Time Is Precious
The Mind Is a Marvel, Use It!
Today I write About Mindset
Psychologists and doctors for years have been saying that we only use a small percentage of our mental capacity. Some say we only use about 15 percent of what the mind is capable of. The mind is like a movie camera and can replay things that have happened in the past, which is our memory. But it can also "pre-play" things that are going to happen in the future, which are our dreams. We all know how to replay our past, but very few know how to pre-play the future and how to make those dream true. If we learn to dream and then dare to go after those dreams, we can do great things. Use all of your mind.
Many people reject their dream and are in reality their own worst enemies. Many people saying " I can't do that! I just can't do that!" You can do anything you want to do. One proverb says,
" If you can overcome the enemy on the inside,
the enemy on the outside won't be able to do you any harm."
God would not give you a dream that you could not acheive. If you can dream it, then you can do it. If you are willing to accept it, conceive and believe it... then you can acheive it!
Edmund Hillary was asked what was the biggest challenge he faced in becoming the first man to reach the top of Mt. Everest. The biggest obstacle, he said, was to overcome the psychological barrier and to keep from talking himself out of trying. The major obstacle was to give up without trying. Often we never accomplish the goal because we simply never try! We talk ourselves out of trying by "saying it's impossible, it can't be done." Most times we do not... because we try not. Yet, once Sir Edmund Hillary got to the top of Mt. Everest and showed that it could be done, it immediately became easier for others. People saw that it was possible and then said, "May be I can too!" "It was not the mountain we conquered, it was ourselves. " Do it now! concure your mountain today!
Each time we acheive something, even small things, we are adding to our self-esteem, self image, self concept. We are making small deposits into our own bank of confidence. We are subcomsiosly saying, " I am all right, i am Okay. Look what I did! If I can do that then i can acheive more." It starts with little accomplishments that lead to big accomplishments. But it starts with you, believing in your self and conquering the enemies on the inside.
